Honours Classes

Honoursonderwijs

Honours Classes zijn onderdeel van het extracurriculaire honoursprogramma voor bachelorstudenten dat de Universiteit Leiden aanbiedt. De vakken zijn van hoog niveau, interdisciplinair en houden zich bezig met complexe wetenschappelijke en maatschappelijke onderwerpen.

Honoursstudenten die ingeschreven zijn bij het Honours College zijn verplicht ten minste één Honours Class te volgen als keuzevak. Dit academisch jaar is er keuze uit ruim 40 vakken, variërend van creatief schrijven tot jihadisme.

Ook niet-honoursstudenten worden uitgenodigd zich aan te melden voor de Honours Classes, als zij geïnteresseerd zijn in het volgen van een extracurriculair vak van 5 EC van hoog niveau.

De registratieperiode voor de Honours Classes voor semester 1 is van woensdag 17 augustus tot en met maandag 5 september; die voor het tweede semester is van maandag 7 november tot en met zondag 20 november.
