To deepen the knowledge of and insights in one of the research fields of cellular biology, developmental and molecular genetics, microbiology or plant cell physiology, students can select one of the text books below:

Prof. Paul Hooykaas – Book: Genes X (Lewin)
Prof. Kees van den Hondel – Book: Brock Biology of Microorganisms, (Madigan et al. 10th edition)
Prof. Johan Memelink – Book: Plant Physiology (Tiaz and Zieger, 4th edition)
An alternative book may be selected, but has to be approved by one of the department heads, or by another qualified (external) examinator.
