Regular BA course

Course
2018-2019

Course from other BA programme

Second-year students of the Honours College FSW may choose to take one course (5 ECs) from a different bachelor’s degree programme within the faculty or at other faculties. For courses in English see Exchange and Study Abroad chapter in the e-prospectus.

Courses followed during Ba2 should be at level 300 or above in year 2, and 400 or higher in year 3.

NB:

  • When selecting a course make sure you fulfill Admission requirements.

  • When choosing a course, this excludes the possibility of doing a course in own bachelor programme (and vice versa) .

Course in own BA programme

Second-year students of the Honours College FSW may choose to take one 5 EC course from their own bachelor’s degree programme as part of their Honours study plan, provided they carry out an additional assignment.

The course chosen needs to meet the following criteria:

  • The course should be one of the electives and should not be part of the compulsory degree programme.

  • The Course level is at least 300 in year 2, or 400 in year 3.

  • The course will not be counted as part of the student’s regular bachelor’s curriculum, and indeed cannot count as such.

  • Counting a course in one’s own bachelor’s degree programme as part of the Honours programme excludes the possibility of taking a course from another BA programme as part of one’s Honours study plan (and vice versa).

  • Courses of more than 5 EC are not allowed.

Signing up

The course should be registered in the Honours FSW Study plan. Signing up for participation the course will take place through the regular channels (i.e. the student registers through uSis as if it were a regular course). Only after successful completion of the course, (and grading of the additional assignment if a course of your own BA programma has been followed), the course registration in uSis will be registered as part of the Honours studyplan.
