Thesis Air and Space Law

Course
2011-2012

Students must write a thesis based upon dedicated research, under the supervision of a Faculty member, according to Faculty rules. On finishing all the required courses that are part of the curriculum, each student has to submit a thesis of 22.000-25.000 words, plus table of content, bibliography and annexes, on a topic of their interest. The topic is decided upon with the permission and acceptance of the supervisor concerned.
The thesis should not be merely descriptive; it needs to be analytical, well researched, and must demonstrate the student’s ability to synthesize the subject matter. The thesis should be of publishable quality and use an adequate methodology, to be agreed upon with the thesis supervisor.

Note: blended learning students have to write a slightly longer thesis (25.000-30.000 words) in order to make up for the ECTS granted to face-to-face students for their participation in a moot court competition. Blended learners are thus granted 12 ECTS for their thesis instead of 10.
