Analysis of the three dimensional structure of proteins by diffraction and imaging analysis

Vak
2010-2011

Actual course information
In order to understand the function of proteins, it is essential to know their structure. In this course students will learn the theory and practice of 3D structure determination of proteins by X-ray crystallography, electron crystallography and electron microscopy. Fourier synthesis, statistical analysis, optics, numerical analysis and bioinformatics are the topics to be given within the setting of the Cell Observatory.
